About
Andrew Woodford
Born near the foothills of the Himalayas, Andrew’s lifelong passion to seek new experiences and adventures paved the way for his love of capturing memorable moments through his illustrations. After spending his childhood in Southeast Asia and then Europe and finishing university in Canada, a two-week ski trip to British Colombia turned into his place to build community.
Andrew is a facilitator, outdoor educator and illustrator living and working on Vancouver Island. When not searching out the perfect wave, paddleboard touring or finding a new climbing route, he can be found sketching his latest ideas and adventuring with his family. He lives by the notion that ”life is a journey, not a destination” and he tries to capture this in his artwork. Andrew is humbled to live and work on the unceded territory of the Lekwungen peoples and the Songhees, Esquimalt and WSA’NEC’ First Nations.
